Adopt a Bee or Hive
Myst~Tree Rainford Cider and Honey is currently working with landowners all around Rainford Village to bring back rare wildflowers from the brink of extinction. In doing this we are not only saving crucial, native plants but we are also providing a wide stretch of habitat and food for pollinators and in turn, their predators too. Whole food chains are being improved around Rainford Village right now, increasing the biodiversity and you too can do your part to help, even if you have no space to plant your own wildflowers.
As a part of our ‘Rewilding Rainford’ Initiative we have decided to offer a range of adoption schemes to help all organisations, charities, business, retailers, local authorities, schools and individuals support us in our work to improve the environment for our endangered residents, such as solitary bees, bumble bees, butterflies, et al.
If you choose one of our adoption schemes you will also be helping us educate others of the “pollinators’ plight”, further helping to develop and sustain the welfare of our wildlife.

Adopt a Hive
The "Adopt a Hive" package is designed for businesses, organisations or authorities wanting to do their part in providing an instant, positive environmental impact.
For a fee of £300 for one year, you will get the following benefits:

1 x New Abelo poly hive of honeybees installed in one our picturesque out-apiaries, set within the glorious surrounds of Rainford Village

Bespoke plaque featuring your logo affixed directly to your hive (with an option to paint the hive in your company colours for an additional fee).

Framed picture of your hive and Queen Bee.

You'll get regular seasonal social media updates throughout the beekeeping season on your hive including photos and videos. This means you can share our content with your own social media community and create fantastic stories around the positive environmental benefits of beehive adoption UK.

Your company logo and bespoke environmental message will be uploaded to our dedicated “Rewilding Rainford” website page, so you can send links to your customers/clients.

6 x 227g (8oz) jars of delicious summer Myst~Tree Rainford Wildflower Honey from your sponsored hive, harvested and labelled by hand - directly from the beehive to your door; perfect for raffles or corporate gifts (More options, such as gift boxes or extra jars, available for an additional fee).
We offer a simple, highly competitive fee of £200 per annum to continue your adoption past it’s first year.
By taking part in one of our adoption schemes will it “Tick” all the boxes for ‘Corporate Social Responsibility’ (CSR) and means that you are taking account of your social, economic and environmental impact, whilst helping to create positive and unique publicity for yourself. It’s a cost-effective way which will also help reverse the decline in pollinator numbers.

Adopt a Queen Bee
The "Adopt a Queen Bee" package is designed for Schools and Social Groups in mind where education and awareness are as important as the positive environmental impact.
For a fee of £150 you will get the following benefits:

A custom-built ‘Tool Box’ full of fun activities, long and short, focusing on the environment, the impacts of humans and climate change, and how we can help the environment heal; which will educate all stages of learners to the rank of Eco-Genius!

Name the most important bee in the entire hive – The Queen Bee

For an additional fee, you can get a visit by either Greg or Kat to have all of your beekeeping questions answered and meet your Queen bee in person using our brand-new Observation Hive! Beekeeping without the sting!

Adopt a Bee
The "Adopt a Bee" package is designed for the eco-conscious individual who wants to have an immediate positive environmental impact.
For a fee of £8 you will get the following benefits:
- You will “bee” responsible of naming your Honeybee
- You will receive an adoption certificate,
- A photograph of their bee,
- A 30g packet of Myst~Tree Wildflower Meadow Seeds to attract bees to their garden.
The majority of bees in the hive are females so bear that in mind when naming your bee. If you would specifically like a male bee (Drone) please let me know and we will track one down for you to adopt.
Please provide the name, address & birth date of the adoptee along with the chosen name of your bee.
